| The Lions Club
of Temuka was chartered in November 1974, having been sponsored by the then Lions Club of
Timaru.
Membership peaked in the mid - 80”s at 50, with a waiting list for membership and at this stage (2003) has a membership of 40. This Club has in turn sponsored the formation of the Temuka Pakeke Lions Club (for the more senior members of the Temuka community) and the Temuka Lioness Club, which was re - named the Temuka and Districts Lions Club. The three Lions Clubs often pool their resources to carry out combined Projects. |
